Julia Anderson
Julia has been working in the care sector for 20 years, she has amassed a wealth of knowledge that makes her perfect to begin this new venture. Her qualifications include NVQ levels 2 and 3, administration and safe handling of medication, Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care (mental health), BA in Health and Social Care (Leadership and Management), she has completed an observation course, so is able to take blood pressure, SAT`s, respirations, temperature and is competent with the EWS system. Tissue viability certification is also available as well all mandatory training, BLS, first aid, moving and positioning.
Julia has gained experience in both Nursing and Residential Care homes, she has worked for Spiral Health CIC and is well versed with Orthopedic injuries, she has also worked for the NHS and is currently working as a Night Care Manager for a large 62 bed residential and dementia care home. She leads by example and has many qualities including; empathy, patience, approachability, nurturing, caring, focused, and person-centered to name but a few.
The 5 C`s of care incorporate Julia`s values perfectly, they are commitment, conscience, competence, compassion and confidentiality. Julia firmly believes in an inclusive and person-centered approach that encompasses values that she considers are paramount to great care. To further compliment this Julia feels that the same approach that is used with clients and their residents should also be used with the colleagues in her employ. There is an open-door policy and they aim to encourage staff to be open and honest, happy staff are better at their jobs, and this will reflect in the professionalism they show when they are representing Providence Care.
Lynsey Varley
Starting her career in a domiciliary company Lynsey gained a wide range of knowledge and experience, she worked her way up through the teams, this enabled her to take on more responsibility within the company. Lynsey then went to work for a range of care homes including a Lancashire County Council home, these all offered different living experiences. These experiences included; end of life, residential, complex needs of young individuals living independently. Lynsey also gained experience and knowledge of dementia and the complexities that encompasses.
Through working with varied clientele Lynsey can relate professionally and respectfully to all those she has cared for and she strives to provide a better standard of care for those she looks after.
Her qualifications include, NVQ 2 and NVQ 3in Adult Health and Social Care, manual handling, fire training, equality and diversity, customer satisfaction, moving and repositioning and the safe handling and administration of medication.
Lynsey believes in working towards care values at all times and wants to promote these through a care team dedicated to their job, and who are not only compassionate but trained and supported well by their management team and trainers.
